What began over ten years ago as intrigue, quickly grew into a passion and
lifetime commitment. Hours upon hours exploring all genres of music, acquiring
knowledge, and gaining respect for the art.
Whether playing his local college market, spreading over the greater part of
southwest Michigan, or making his regular traveling stops throughout the
mid-west, Kane masterfully blends multiple genres of music infusing hip-hop,
house, top-40, & the "classics". Over the past ten years he has consistently
held residencies averaging 200+ shows per year. Currently he holds residency
at The Underground, “Chicago’s hottest nightclub”(Entertainment Weekly),
ROOF on The Wit, another "A" list favorite, and makes regular appearances
at several other prominent venues throughout the Chicago area. Through the
journey he has had the opportunity to play for numerous celebrities/ musicians/
athletes, notably, Jamie Foxx, Jeremy Piven, Forest Whitaker, the cast's of
Glee & The Playboy Club, Bruno Mars, Cee-Lo Green, Ludacris, Mike Posner,
Derek Jeter & Dwayne Wade just to name a few.
As with many DJ’s, there seems to be a natural progression into remixing
producing. The same holds true here. There is an immense amount of
time put into creating personal edits to create variety in the
arrangement of the songs played. Kane is also an artist on the
world renowned Crooklyn Clan.net website as a member of
Diggz & Co., the number 2 top
selling team of all time. With
his experience and ability combined
with being a member
of the elite roster of DJ's belonging to
The Music Trust,
the future looks promising.
